post-buy and marketing component analysis. To make the most informed
decisions possible, we use industry-standard tools like Arbitron,
Nielson, The Media Audit, Yankelovich Monitor, Telmar Sytems and Second
Wind Network’s Adstein, as well as data from all major media research
sources including Burrells, Adnorms, Hall’s, SRDS, ABC, SPARC (Media
Market Guide), TAB, Simmons and Opinion Research.
While gross rating points (GRPs), reach and frequency are delivered
based on agreed criteria for each strategic campaign, they are not the
sole basis for media selection; we also take into consideration each
media outlet’s willingness to give “Bonus Weight” against purchased
GRPs, and their ability to leverage in-market promotional
opportunities.
All local market buys are executed on a face-to-face basis to maximize
particular market advantages, existing media relationships and special
promotional opportunities. Our experience has shown that while local
buys often require a greater degree of administration, interaction and
market knowledge, they can often have more impact than a national buy,
offering advertisers the benefit of leveraging local market dynamics
and the opportunity to take advantage of unique, customized promotional
programs.
