Every industry has their herd of sacred cows. A set of beliefs,
approaches, rules or actions that they blindly follow because that's
the way things are done. Sacred cows take many forms: old designs,
tired products, rigid processes or outdated processes. If we don't
question why we do things the way we do, we'll never do them better.
We'll resist trying new approaches. And invariably repeat old
mistakes. We'll make decisions based on sacred cows.
